Mr Lamb (6LF Class Teacher)
Hi. I am Mr Lamb and I'm very excited to be teaching in Year 6 again this year. This will be my fourth year teaching at Offley. Previous to Offley, I have taught in Manchester, Slovakia, Kent, and in Japan over a total period of 15 years. I have primarily taught in Year 6, and have led a range of subjects, including science and maths, which I will now be leading alongside Mrs Furlong.
I have two young children, who attend school in Alsager, one who is in Year 4 and the other who is in Year 2. I enjoy running, cycling, reading and spending time with my family.

Weekly Update: (W.E 16.02.2023)
A fabulous end to another half-term, the children have been fantastic this week and we hope you all have a well deserved rest over half-term.
We have now finished our English Text 'The Selfish Giant' by Oscar Wilde. We were so impressed with their hard work when writing their classic narratives. They also this week wrote their own 'if I were a giant' poems inspired by Jackie Hoskins Poem.
In maths, we have completed our learning which focused on ratio, proportion and scaling by solving worded problems. The children used bar models to help them visualise and break down the questions before going on to solve them.
On Wednesday 1st of March we will be holding a SATs information at school at 5:30pm. Please see the letter sent out to parents on Thursday for more information.
Enjoy the break and we look forward to see the children on Monday 27th Feb.
