COVID-19 Update
Dear parents
We hope you are managing to stay safe and well during these unprecedented times. We remain committed to supporting you and your families as far as we are able under these very challenging circumstances and within the guidelines set by the government. We will attempt to clarify this situation below.
The government has published guidance as to the list of key workers.
Within the guidance the government has asked:
- Parents to keep their children at home, wherever possible, and asked schools to remain open only for those children who absolutely need to attend. Many parents working in these sectors may be able to ensure their child is kept at home. Every child who can be safely cared for at home should be.
- We will remain open for a small number of pupils but you should only send your child if there is no other safe alternative. It goes without saying that fewer children making the journey to school, and the fewer children in educational settings, the lower the risk that the virus can spread and infect vulnerable individuals in wider society.
- Please keep your children at home if possible. If children can stay safely at home, they should, to limit the chance of the virus spreading.
- If you are classed as one of the key workers and do not have any alternative childcare arrangements please contact the school today to discuss provision.
We would like to thank you for all the support that you have given us during these unusual circumstances. Please be assured that we are doing our very best to adapt to an ever changing situation and trying to work within the parameters that the government has issued.
